António Palmeira is a PhD in Health and Physical Conditioning, Master in Sports Psychology and Bachelor in Physical Education and Sports. He is currently an associate Professor at Lisbon’s Lusophone University.

António Palmeira has completed his Bachelor in Physical Education in 1993, his Master in Sports Psychology in 1999 and PhD in Health and Physical Conditioning in 2009 at the Faculty of Human Kinetics in Lisbon. He has been an academic professor for 23 years, was a Physical Education teacher for 15 years and has worked in weight management programs at gyms (Holmes Place) and Clinical settings (Metabólica and Santa Maria Hospital) for 15 years. Is a member of the International Society of Behavioral Nutrition and Physical Activity and since 5 years ago António has become it’s Executive Director. He has published more than 50 research papers in science journals.
